Absolutepunk.net and Purevolume.com

Hey everyone, how’s it going?  Ryan here just checking in with a few updates on this eve of the eve of the release date.  Just a few things…

Starting today we have an exclusive full album stream over at www.absolutepunk.net .  If you haven’t had the opportunity to hear all of the songs yet head on over there and have a listen.  We are very grateful that they are doing that for us. 

Also, starting tomorrow we will be on the main page of www.purevolume.com , where you will be able to listen to a bunch of the songs on the album as well.  For those of you that have heard the album, check these pages out anyways because we have a new video for you that documents our time in the studio in May 2008.  Our good buddy Morgan H.  from Florida put it together for us., so we thank him for that. 

Thank you all for checking out these pages and leaving your feedback.  It’s much appreciated.  Well, that’s about it for now. 

The olympics are on right now.  I’m going to watch some gymnastics.  These girls are so young and tiny it’s unbelievable the way that they can flip and spin so many times in one jump.  I can barely do a summersault (spelling?) anymore.  In other news, Brendan and I caught a combined 17 bass (the fish, not the low pitched string instrument) today.  Love it.

One week left to preorder!

You’ve all got one more week to preorder the album if you haven’t already! You can do that at the Blue Duck Records Store. Remember, if you preorder it, you’ll be entered in a contest to win $100 to Ticketmaster, which, if I can say, would be the best prize ever! More live music! So, tell your friends, family, and close acquaintances.

During the week of the release, we’ll be featured on Purevolume and Absolute Punk so be sure to check out those pages.

We put up some pictures from Soulfest 08 on our Myspace, courtesy of Jess from Blue Duck Records, who also put up a couple videos on YouTube so check out all of that as well.

Welcome to the new TheGalleryMusic.com. Thanks for your patience. We’ll be adding more stuff all the time, so be sure to check back.

Just remember, you can still pre-order “If You Know What I Mean” at the Blue Duck Records Store before it’s released on August 12th.

And finally, we’ll be updating all of our web sites(the links to the right) with a new video every week, starting with a live one of this friday’s show with Automatic Loveletter & Ivoryline, and a new song on myspace from the album each week until the release.

Blue Duck Records

Hey guys,

We haven’t done one of these in a while so we figured why not. We’ve been in a time of significant transitions as of late, but we’re now in south Florida meeting new people and working to start playing out all the time. We’re pretty pumped to be able to write all year in preparation for our first full length album.

We will be releasing the album with Blue Duck Records, which we are very excited about. The guys over there have been awesome and we’re stoked to be able to work with them to get you all some quality tunes! You know? Yut!
Also, now that I think of it, we have some pretty sweet looking new t-shirts so there will be pictures of those up here pretty soon. They’ll look good on you, trust me.

We can’t wait to start playing all over the place and meeting tons of new people, like you guys and girls that may be reading this. Make sure you check the Myspace & Purevolume once in a while because we will be putting up some demo recordings of some of the new songs. We’re happy with how they are coming out and want you to hear them.

Hello there!

This is the first Gallery Journal entry! Hope everyone already has a copy of the (finally) printed EP! We will be playing many shows this summer, so be sure to get to a couple of em!
